Submitting A Book
 SUBMISSIONS
We are currently looking for ALL book types and subjects and Genres. Please Email all submissions and your contact information to authors@800publishing.com
However, please note that we are not a "puppy mill" Publisher. We do review all manuscripts and do reserve the right to decline any manuscript that does not meet our criteria for publishing. We do this as we market what we publish.
When submitting a book to us for review, please expect up to TEN days for us to get back to you. This is due to the fact that we review your work, and then contact you. Please, when submitting your book for review, ensure that it meets at least these basic requirements.
PLUS PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION !
- In a WORD doc, or Txt, WORKS or Note Pad format.
- MAC users, please send it as a txt.doc or as a PDF, if possible
- If possible, double spaced in .12 pt font.
- Please make sure your name, telephone and email address are included in your email to us
We do not accept the following:
- Pornography - Yes this is subjective, so send it to us and we can let you know if it meets our limits.
- Extreme erotica - We are not talking romance, or sexual scenes. We mean hardcore erotica that is designed to purposely arouse through EXTREME storyline.
- Child exploitation
- Bestiality, Kink, or "other" extreme acts - Unless this is part of the storyline, such as a murder mystery where there is a temptress doing the murdering etc...
NOTE
If the story is autobiographical, crime/mystery drama or is historical in nature, then we will look at these as "elements" of a story on a book-by-book basis. Examples might be a book written about slavery or a murder mystery involving the death of a child, etc.... These are not PURPOSELY designed to incite feelings of anger, or hate. They are stories, and ones that involve historical facts or acts that, although horrible, are part of the overall story.
