Policies & Procedures
 2 Moon Press LLC has certain policies and procedures that we would like to disclose to all authors and clients. The following policies and procedures are by no means complete, and 2 Moon Press reserves the right to modify and change these at will.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide economical, value packed publishing services to authors and individuals. We continuously work to improve our services and be an example for other publishers. We strive to make the goals of our clients, our goals, and to provide a pace for these goals to be achieved.
RECORDS
2 Moon Press keeps copies of all contracts at their corporate head quarters located at 123 West Michigan Ave, Marshall Michigan. These contracts are kept in a secure locked location, and back up records are kept in a 3rd party location, along with scanned copies on back up disc on a separate location. 2 Moon Press also utilizes Author Tracker Pro software, that allows all jobs to be tracked electronically. These records and backups are not kept at the Offices of 2 Moon Press LLC, these records are stored on secure servers, that 2 Moon Press LLC retains the use of. All electronic ATP back ups are kept by 2 Moon Press along with their web developer and two locations off site.
BOOK PRICING POLICY
Books sold to authors for their own sale are sold with no sales tax due to the fact they will be resold. All of our books are discounted 50 percent on the first order. Then all subsequent orders are discounted based on the quantity that are purchased. All pricing is subject to change at anytime. The discount is given based off of the retail price of the book.You will note from our book pricing on site, that we do not place outlandish prices on our books. All of our books are set to industry standard, when it comes to retail pricing.
MINIMUM ORDERS
Authors are not bound to purchase books. They can opt for 2 Moon Press to be the sole marketer and also distributor of their works. However all authors when ordering books are required to order a minimum of 25 books.
PUBLISHING TIME FRAME
Publishing of a book properly takes time. There are many publishers that will draw a author in with promises of unrealistic publishing times. 2 Moon Press states that the approximate time to publish a standard novel is between 6 and 10 weeks. However many things can delay this, such as publisher load, author review of files. We do not rush our authors books. We feel when rushed, mistakes happen, and no one wants a book with mistakes in it. Children's book can take longer due to the illustrations in them. So can other specialty books.
AMAZON & EBOOK LOADING
Typically we will upload a book onto Amazon for inclusion upon receipt of books, unless we make prior arrangements with the author. This is so that we ensure when release comes we have books on hand to meet Amazon's fulfillment needs. We also will upload our clients KINDLE and Barnes & Noble EPubs once we upload to Amazon as we feel this enhances the marketability of the clients book. However please be aware that Amazon and Barnes & Noble can take several days to over a week to accept and place said book / ebook on their site.
EVENTS
We strive to give authors the best event possible based on our experience, 2 Moon Press will also work to get an author into a venue that they specifically want. However as we do not control venues and their decision making in regards to accepting authors and or events at their locations, we can only try and do not promise a specific location / venue for any event.
