About Us
HISTORY
2 Moon Press was formed in late 2008 with a goal to open a new type of pay to publish operation. Never liking the label of "Vanity Press", the President Don wanted to begin something different. 2 Moon Press looked at the existing larger pay to publish operations, and evaluated the pro's and con's of going to one of these operations.
Looking at feedback online from authors, and also looking at the online writers forums. Don looked at the praises and complaints, and worked up a new publishing model that took into account the positives. Just because you are paying to have your book published does not mean you are not an author. These misconceptions and internet fables are part of why 2 Moon was formed.
Since then, 2 Moon Press LLC has changed and evolved, we are ever diligent in looking into new ways to improve our services and also performance.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
2 Moon Press LLC is involved with community. Since opening we have given away publishing packages to local High School students, donated books, audio books and CD players to the local cancer center. Supported the Thin Blue Line for fallen police officers, and created an Anthology of tales for the local Cancer center donating all proceeds to them. This is also in addition to our cash donations to everyone from the local historical society, to community centers and just about everything between. We believe that local business's need to support the communities that they live in.
TOOLS & SERVICES
When you publish with 2 Moon Press LLC you can be assured that you are dealing with a modern company using modern tools. From our new modern 2000 square foot offices, we use PC based systems using the latest software, from ADOBE CS5, to COREL X5 to Microsoft 2010 based products. Our computers are all up to date models, using high RAM and Quad Core processors.
All printing is done on high end, digital presses, with modern binding equipment. Our staff are all highly experienced in their areas of responsibility, with the average in field experience of 10 plus years. So be assured that you are dealing with a modern company with modern equipment, and staff that are motivated and willing to help you with your book.
